Seriously Brynn?

At the end of July, we had another fun trip to the ER. This time Brynn had a broken collar bone. Fabulous! Was she doing something dangerous you might ask? How about running in grandma's backyard. She was racing her cousins and tripped and fell. I knew something was wrong right away, but Brandon insisted that she was fine. Maybe there really is something to that mother's instinct thing. I took her to the ER 24 hours later and the x-ray showed a broken collar bone. She had to wear a sling for a month and was not supposed to move it or do anything to reinjure it (dance, gymnastics, swimming, bike riding, jumping on the tramp) all difficult things for a 7 year old not to do the last few weeks of summer. But I have to say that she was a real trooper and did really well. She didn't complain much and now she is back to normal again. Lets just keep our fingers crossed that we don't visit the ER again anytime soon.

Waiting for the ER doc, Brynn was all smiles. I think she was excited to show off her new sling.

Remember this? 2 years ago she broke her leg jumping on the tramp. Can't wait to see what bone is next!
