Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!!! So I tried unsuccessfully to get some really great family pictures on Easter Sunday. WoW!!! What an ordeal! Brynnley poked herself in the eye right before church and then wouldn't even cooperate at all after church because she was too hungry. Ryder was tired and Brooklyn wouldn't sit still. Needless to say, I was a little ticked over the whole thing. Jalinda, I have no idea how you torture your kids and manage to get good pictures.

Notice Brynnley's tortured sad face in this one. And this one is good compared to the others.

Okay, everyone sort of looks happy in this one don't they?

Sunday morning the kids were thrilled to find that the Easter Bunny had not forgotten them!

The girls kept reminding me that this Easter was Ryder's very first Easter and apparently that was supposed to make it more exciting and rewarding for them somehow.
On Saturday, we found some time before the Huntsman annual Easter egg hunt and BBQ to color some eggs. It was a busy and fun Easter weekend at our house. Just today, Brooklyn asked what holiday is coming up next. "Is it spring?" she asked. I sure hope so!

Picture taking can be torture sometimes. Kayla threw a huge fit for Easter pics. (you'll have to see if you can see her pissed off face in our not so cute family pic.) I have to catch my kids in the right mood, hence they are usually not dressed cute when I get the best shots. You'll have to check out our lovely Easter pics when I get up the energy to post them. : )

I still thought your kids look darling for Easter! We have good taste in Easter dresses, and little Ryder looks like a mini Logan. Too cute. Your girls look beautiful in their recital costumes--my girls will be excited to see them.

ps Tell Brooks that we're glad she was so brave with her owie and we will address her by her correct name when we come this summer.

And the poor stitches, you have had a lot going on lately! Holy cow! I got the broken bones, but no stitches! Tell her to hang in there!

Well at least you got pictures. I was so busy that morning that that unfortunately was the last thing on my mind. Yikes, I think I will have to do a pretend shot.

Enjoy the moment!
