November in a Nutshell

I didn't post a single thing in November. Hey, I'm still using the frazzled new mom excuse and the 3 kids is a lot excuse, so I just thought I'd do a quick catchup on some November highlights.

November started out with Ryder being blessed. It was a really great day and Brandon gave Ryder a beautiful blessing. Almost all of our family members were able to be there and I'm really grateful for all of their support. Ryder looked quite handsome in his little church outfit I must say.
No Brandon didn't wear that to church. He's one of those "the minute I get home I have to change out of these church clothes" guys.

People say Ryder looks more like me, but I'm not sure that I'm seeing it just yet. Poor kid.

Brandon was out of town one weekend in Nov. for a guys motorcycle riding trip, so while he was gone, the girls insisted we have a GIRLS NIGHT complete with pedicures, hairstyles, and lots of dancing and singing. Is it sad when I enjoy hanging out on a Friday night with my 3 year old and 5 year old? Nope! I just think its called being a mom and I couldn't ask for better kids.

Brooklyn is an aspiring hairstylist and some of her work is really quite good.

This is the work of my master hair stylist Brynnley. I think she called it fancy date night hair. Like I'm going to need that anytime soon.... I wish.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRANDON!!!!

Brandon turned "33" in Nov. and we made him a cake and had a little party. WOW we are sure getting old, but I'm thinking other than a few grey hairs, Brandon looks almost just the same as he did when we started dating in high school. Not too bad is you ask me!

We had a great Thanksgiving. We had dinner at my mom's and then went to Brandon's Aunts for dessert. The kids decorated gingerbread houses the night before (which is kind of a Thanksgiving tradition in my family).

We have so much to be grateful for. This year has been one of ups and downs, but when I really think about it, I couldn't ask for more and I feel so lucky for all that we have been blessed with.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
