We spent this last weekend in Park City for a little family vacation. Noelle (Brandon's sister), Jeremy and baby Corbin went with us. We stayed at the Mountainside Marriott and had a blast. The weather wasn't great, but we were still able to hit the outlets, ride the Alpine Slide, swim, and swim and swim some more. The resort even had a kids club so the girls were able to make a few crafts and play there. Brynn had a blast doing the trampoline thing that they have at the Park City resort and was cutting some major back flips. Of course we ate at some fun restaurants and binged out at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory too. Brandon and I even had a little date night out while Jeremy and Noelle watched the girls. THANKS Noelle and Jeremy!!!!
Its funny how just getting away to Park City for a few days can seem like a vacation. I think it's just nice to have a break from our usual routine. Although, the girls didn't sleep very well sharing the same bed and Brooklyn was a little on the tired and cranky side for a lot of the trip. (Look at her face in the picture above and that about explains it). We like to call her Wendy Whiner. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that there are definitely some good things about being home and back on schedule.

What a fun weekend getaway! We need more of those. We slipped away to the coast a couple of weeks ago and it was soooooooooooo nice to get away relaxing reading and suntanning with the surf rolling in. We need to plan a trip when we come in the summer. Love ya! -- oh yeah, Savannah is a Wendy Whiner lately too. : )

I can't imagine Brooklyn whining. She is the sweetest thing! I miss her in class. We love Park City and we love the Mountainside Marriott (and the big pool there) and we love the Alpine Slide and coaster. You probably didn't go on the coaster in your state though, did you. Funny thing that I guessed you were going there when I passed you guys. What a fun family you have!

Your blog is great! It is fun to hear about what you are doing, since the family hasn't gotten together for a long time. Your girls are so cute! I can't believe Brynn has lost teeth already. Congratulations on having a boy. That is very exciting. We recently bought bunk beds for our girls and we found a great deal on a cute set with drawers underneath. You may have already found some, but call me if you are interested in more information about them.

I want to make some normal comments like "what a fun weekend" but I can't stop laughing about Brynn. It's just automatic with her I noticed when I was taking pics at Easter, some pulls out the camera and BOOM, she's posed. I wish she could teach Zoey, she's like the most non-photogenic child I've ever seen!
