Brooklyn and her new bear "Lydia"Yesterday during Brynnley's Pre-school, Brooklyn and I were running errands (like we always do - poor girl)and we just happened to go to RCWilley to look at bunk beds for the girls. (We are in the process of trying to get the rooms ready for the girls to share and for the new baby's room and all that.) We got there right around 1:00 pm and people were starting to line up to make a FREE build-a-bear in the store. They gave out 100 free bears to promote a new kids furniture line and we were #32. I decided to wait in line since we just happened to be in the right place at the right time, but it still took almost 1 hour for her turn to make her bear. I was beginning to wonder if this dorky free bear was worth it, but as soon as Brooklyn made her bear, she was thrilled and hasn't put "Lydia" her new best friend down since. Funny how something so small can make her day. Although I felt like I was wasting valuable time just standing there in RCWilley for an hour, Brooklyn loved it and it was totally worth it! I love you Brooks!

I'm sure she had a blast and will remember it for a long time!
A smile on your little girls face is worth the hour in line, what a good mom. How lucky to pick the perfect day to shop for furniture!
She'll remember this forever. How fun. Ok, so today in nursery I stepped on her arm, and i know it left a red mark. She didn't cry, but I could tell it didn't feel good, of course. I don't know how it all happened bc I was holding Joshua and Caden was crying, but then I tripped over her and ended up stepping on her arm. Luckily I wasn't in heels today. I hope she feels better. Give her lots of kisses from me. We went and got a drink and put some water on it and she was just fine, but it was pretty red. Anyway, so I'm trying not to abuse your kids :) She is so cute!
You are so nice! I run past that store in the mall. But it is so funny what makes them so happy!
Good score on the FREE bear! How do you always luck out? Maybe you are shopping more often??? Hmmm . . . It's so fun when you do something for your kids and it makes them so happy!
