Watch out summer, here we come!

School is out and for us that means lots and lots of neighborhood fun. We are lucky to live in a neighborhood full of kids and we love it! On the last day of school, the neighbors celebrated with a giant slip and slide party in the park and great food and fun at the Roses. It was a little cold, but the kids were great sports and the moms had snuggies and blankets to keep us warm.

Even the little girls loved going down it. Here is a picture of our extreme slip and slide. I speak from experience when I tell you it really is pretty fast.

FOOD FIGHT!!!!! Every year our neighbors, the Yarrows, organize a first of summer food fight in the park and the kids have an absolute blast. This year we had eggs, pasta, jello, cool-whip, pudding, syrup, marshmallows and all kinds of great stuff for the kids to throw. After the kids all got hosed off, it was off to the giant slip and slide again!!!!

This year Brooklyn decided to get right in there and get a little dirty. Nice Brooks!!!!
