This is the lobby of our resort. The resort was HUGE. Our rooms were really nice and big too! Forget about the swine flu - I love Mexico!
Here's the beach at our resort. There was plenty to do - kayaking, wind sailing, boogie boarding, and snorkeling.
But best of all there was a lot of RELAXING!!!!! The ladies did that especially well.

We spent a day exploring and snorkeling at Xel-ha. Brandon and I visited Xel-ha 11 years ago on our honeymoon. It was fun to go back.
We took the ferry over to the island of Cozumel and spent a day exploring there. This is a scenic lookout point on Cozumel. 
We took a jeep tour of the island that was lots of fun. And no Brandon did not get a tattoo (he just wasted $10 getting a temporary tattoo on the beach. It did have my initials in it so I guess that's cute - sort of).

This was downtown in Playa Del Carmen. "Tips, Utah...don't forget my tips Utah." Apparently you have to pay to get a picture with this guy. 
Mike did not disappoint with a new "outfit" complete with wigs and everything each night of the trip. We called this look his Yanni look. Thanks for ruining this picture Mike!!!!

The food... I think we all probably gained at least 10 lbs on this trip. The food was really good and it was all inclusive so you had to eat a lot and all the time right? This was at the Fondue restaurant - one of my favs. No need to pay for dinner at the Melting Pot anymore. 
This was at the Tepanyaki style restaurant. This was by far my favorite. Our chef was the best I've ever seen at one of the places. "Uno, Dos, Tres, OOH OOH!!!!"
Here is all of us at the Italian restaurant. Jeanette, Sara, Greg, Marianne, Josh, Vicki, Mike and Brandon. 
It was nice to go on a vacation with some other couples because we had lots of photographers to take all of these sweet couple shots instead of taking all those lame one person here and then one person there pictures. 
Okay this really long post is finally over. We really had a great time and no symptoms of swine flu yet. No seriously, Mexico was great. The resort wasn't crowded at all, the price was right, and we even got a free room upgrade (thanks swine flu). Thanks Brandon for taking me on this much needed vacation. Love you Babe!!!!!

Looks like you had a great time! Gotta love that swine flu w got upgraded rooms on our cruise and a $150 credit because of it. We are still alive and kicking! Love all your pictures!
We have done that vacation a few times isn't it the greatest? I am never so relaxed or fat as I am in Mexico! Wishing you all the best next week, let me know if Broklyn needs to come over to play while you rest!
So fun! Don't worry about the 10 lbs. You look so great, 20 pounds wouldn't even make a difference. Glad you got to go! Hooray for babysitters!
Ok, now THAT looks like so much fun! It was way fun to see pics of Mike! I grew up by him and haven't seen him FOREVER! The "Yanni" look totally cracked me up! Still the same fun and hilarious Mike!
Okay, I was a little jealous/homesick when I heard about it... Now that I've seen the pics. I'm officially pissed off that we've grown so out of touch with you guys since we moved.
Looks like you guys had a good time and I'm pretty confident there was at least one or two sarcastic jokes made at Mike's expense.. :)
