This is the first time I have been tagged, so this will be fun. I'm really into this blogging thing now right?
What was I doing 10 years ago?
Brandon and I had just been married less than a year and he was still playing minor league baseball for the Baltimore Orioles. We were living in Salisbury, Maryland for the summer in a little crappy apartment where we slept on an air mattress and hardly had any furniture. I was working at the mall at the The Limited and hanging out at the ballpark every night watching Brandon pitch. We lived only about a half hour from Ocean City, MD which is this really cool little beach town, so I spent a lot of time at the beach with some of the other baseball wives and girlfriends.
Brynnley was only about 6 months old, so I was adjusting to being a new stay at home mom. I quit my job at the UVSC health center to stay home with her and I was loving it! I was also young women's president in our ward, and I think it was right about this time that I left her for the first time to go to girls camp. She didn't take a bottle very good and I was so worried that she would starve. I pumped the entire time up at girls camp in my tent so I could still nurse her. Good Times!!!!
I was just doing the usually summer activities with Brynnley and Brooklyn. We were probably at seven peaks or the pool on most days. Brandon and I were also getting ready to go on our trip to Puerto Vallerta, Mexico (without our kids) to celebrate our 10 year anniversary that was coming up in October.
Yesterday?
I taught my early morning kickboxing class at Gold's gym and came home and crawled back into bed until the girls woke up. We went to their last day of swimming lessons at PG pool, went to Walmart, and then met my mom at Cinderella's Closet to find dresses for the girls for my brother's wedding. Then Noelle called to see if Brynnley and Brooklyn wanted to sleep over. What!!!! A night with no kids!!! We didn't know what to do with ourselves , but we ended up going to dinner and seeing Indiana J0nes.
My 5 favorite snacks.
Grapes, Cheese, Chips and Salsa, Oreos, and ice cream sandwiches or orange creamsicles. YUM!!!
5 favorite books.
I love to read, but who has the time? I love all of Nicholas Sparks books (I'm reading one right now), I loved the Twighlight series, I love a good mystery novel like those by Mary Higgins Clark, I'm also a sucker for LDS fiction like the romances by Anita Stansfield, and I also love to read magazines like Shape and Parents.
5 places I would run away to.
Anywhere warm with a nice beach is my idea of a getaway. A Caribbean cruise, Cancun, Australia, Paris, and Disney world all sound nice right now.
5 bad habits.
I don't have any. HA HA!!! Gossiping, interrupting people, eating way too much junk food, shopping too much, and being late.
5 things I would never wear.
I like to try new things but there are just some things I could never pull off like skinny jeans, leggings, short shorts, a bikini, and anything mustard yellow.
5 pet peeves.
People that don't use their turn signal when they drive, when Brynnley or her friends don't flush the toilet, when people don't rinse off their plate and put it in the dishwasher (HELLO BRANDON!!!), when door to door salespeople come to my house, and when your pregnant and you have to get up every 2 hours to go to the bathroom!!!!! Oh and I also hate hate hate the word 'moist'. It drives me crazy when people say that.
5 things I like to do.
Exercise, shop, talk to friends, blog, and do fun things with my kids.
5 favorite TV shows.
Grey's Anatomy, Brothers and Sisters, So You Think You Can Dance, The Bachelor, The Office, and Scrubbs.
5 famous people I want to meet.
Danny from the TV show Vegas (he is so dang hot), Ashton Kutcher (to ask him why he is married to Demi Moore), Justin Timberlake (Maybe he'll show me some dance moves), Brad from last season's The Bachelor (to see why he really didn't pick Deanna), and Clinton and Stacy from what not to wear (I could use some fashion advice).
5 people I want to TAG.
RaKell, Keri, Jalinda, Hillary, and Heather.

That is a fun tag! I learned a lot about you and we have a lot in common.
What??! I've been tagged. I guess I'm a real blogger too. I learned a few interesting things about my sister--like who you want to meet??! (Justin Timberlake--your secret is out!!) I also laughed that you and Brandon went out last night to dinner and to see Indiana Jones. So did we! Maybe if we were in the same state we could have doubled. But did you buy tickets to another movie because Indina Jones was sold out and then sneak in to see it anyway? : )
I love that you hate the word "moist". I started laughing out loud about your pet peeves, Kelsey has a friend that NEVER flushes and it drives me insane!!!! And FYI you so do not need Clinton and Stacy's fashion advice!! You look great every time I see you!
Just when you think you know a person they get tagged and then you learn a lot more about them. It was very entertaining reading it.
Kickboxing???? That's great! Oh ya, MOIST, MOIST, MOIST, MOIST, MOIST!
You kill me, I need to add moist to my list too! Gag, hate that word! Did you see what I put? Panties and Pork, I so hate those words! And yes you are always late, but so am I and that is why we are such good friends!
I read your bad habits and thought, hmmmm she doesn't do any of those things - so you are hiding it well. If you think about where we both came from, I think we are doing pretty well with NOT being late all the time!!!
I've never responded to a tag before but I have nothing to blog about lately and this one was interesting so . . .
Okay Jeanette - 5 things you would never wear - are you kidding me? You probably would look better in all of those things, more so than half of the people who do try to wear them! And your still kickboxing? You put all of us to shame! That's why you go home from the hospital in your jeans when you're done having a baby!
PS Jeanette you could and should totally wear skinny jeans! You are just the person to do it.
