A visit from the toothfairy

Brooklyn lost her first tooth last month and WOW was she excited!!! Well, at least she was excited after she got over the initial shock of it all. She was in the tub and bit on a tub toy hippo and her tooth just fell out right into the water. She panicked and started freaking out, but once she realized that it was a good thing and that the tooth fairy would be visiting her that night she quickly recovered. She even left a note for the tooth fairy (with some help from Brynn) asking questions like "What is your favorite color" and "What is your favorite food." Just in case you're wondering the tooth fairy apparently likes the color green and loves to eat snowballs. Hmmmmm, Go figure.

Brynn's Baptism

Brynn's long awaited baptism day finally came! She is now an official member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and she was so thrilled. It really was an amazing day. I'm so grateful that she made the choice to be baptized and it was a special experience for our family. Our neighborhood has a million little girls her age and it just so happened that 3 of her good friends were baptized at the same time, making it even more special. We are also lucky to have so many family members living close by, and I'm really grateful for all of their support. We all went out to lunch after the baptism to celebrate. Congratulations Brynn!!!!! We love you and are so proud of you!!!! Never forget how you felt on your special day!!!!

Happy Birthday to Brynnley!!!!

I cannot believe this cute girl is 8 years old! Crazy! She had a great Birthday that just seemed to keep going. We started with a fun friend party at good old Classic Skating, then it was a fun family party with cake and ice cream, next was a trip to the Delta Center for an autograph party with the Jazz and finally her actual Birthday with lots of fun presents and the special treatment for a day. Doesn't sound to bad to me.....








Here is Brynnley at a glance. She loves Justin Beiber, barbies, dancing, going to Jazz games with her dad, hanging out with her friends, the color blue, and loves to tease and torment her sister and brother. Oh and apparently she looks like John Stockton's daughter, or least that's what Jerry Sloan told her at the signing party. Too funny! She is a fun, energetic, bright, social, busy and extremely competitive girl and I'm so lucky to be her mom. Love you Brynns!!!!

Happy New Year (just a little late)

It's a new year! Okay, I realize it's February, but give me a break. We rang in the new year in sunny St. George, but believe me it wasn't too sunny this year. We spent the week just relaxing and hanging out with family. The kids had a blast with the cousins and it's always nice to get away. Since 2011 is already in full swing and I've neglected all of my New Year's resolutions already, here's another little reminder for me to get going and make some changes for the better. Cheers to another great year ahead of us.....

We had a very Merry Christmas full of food, family, and lots and lots of presents!!!!! The kids were sooooooooo excited and we all had a great day!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!

December fun!

I've had no motivation lately to blog. I'm not sure why. Maybe because I figure no one reads this anyway, but mostly I've been feeling really behind and it's hard to get going again. I also decided that I really don't do this so anyone else will read it, (okay well maybe for Jalinda) I'm doing this for myself and for the remote possibility that one day I will actually figure out how to print this blog in a fabulous book. So with all that said, here goes the catch-up blogging. I think I'll just skip November since it's never an eventful month. Brandon did turn 35, and we had a great thanksgiving and all that, but let's get right into the more exciting December.
